Here is a look at Brooks Bridge construction progress near the Santa Rosa Boulevard roundabout north of U.S. 98 on Okaloosa Island.

These comparison images show a recent aerial and an artist’s rendering of the future roundabout. Traffic will eventually tie into the widened Santa Rosa Boulevard and the new North Connection, which are being constructed and improved to increase safety and traffic flow.

The $171 million Brooks Bridge replacement project includes constructing two new, parallel bridge structures that will increase capacity to six travel lanes from the current four-lane bridge that opened in 1966.

GOOD MORNING!!!!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!!!

Let's Kick start your Monday with a little P.S.A (public service announcement) for those who do not read the full posts......

And yes we are quite aware of our smart aleck tone with this....We do this on purpose, one for humor cause the lack of common sense is real these days. Two, we are old fashion and don't use A.I. or chatgpt for anything....

LISTENNNNNN (yes we said that like Justin Nunley)

Did you know it is actually against the law to feed wildlife?

Did you know majority of the animals that inhabit the ecosystem are not only protected, they are protected at the Federal level!!!!

We know the herons and pelicans are adorable like your doggo and that pesky cat begging for thirds of their favorite dish, BUT STOP!!!!!!!

This breaks their habits on feeding themselves and relying on PEOPLE for their food.

Listen, your pet at home relies on you, these WILD ANIMALS DO NOT!!!!!!

It's also DANGEROUS!!!!!! Remember that line in Jurassic Park, where Allen Grant says that Dinosaurs were more like birds? Have you seen the talons and beaks on these animals?

So when you feed said animal, and it pecks, claw or bite you? You want sympathy? Bro......Stop

COMMON SENSE PEOPLE!!!!!! For the record you can't get that VIA Chat gpt or any other A.I.

So unfortunately, and this might cause us some bad press or push back...but if our staff witnesses you feeding, harassing or trying to physically harm ANY wildlife not just birds, this includes Turtles, Sharks, Manatees, and yes the pesky dolphins, ALL OF THE ABOVE! YOU WILL BE TOLD TO LEAVE, make it a habit and you will not be welcome out here. PERIOD. Plus we will notify the proper authorities and let them handle it as well. DO you really want to arrive on vacation and leave on probation? No, and we don't want that for you either....

Admire the amazing and beautiful wildlife that takes up residency along our paradise of a home. Take their picture, watch them...TAKE IT ALL IN...way better than a youtubers video or tik tok..ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!

With that being said, we need an extra cup of coffee and maybe a donut or two....

Thank you for taking our smart aleck tone with a huge grain of salt, these days humor and bluntness seems to work better than us just being like yo don't do that....

*SIDE BAR* Cause we know someone is going to comment "WHEN IS THE CAMERA GOING TO BE BACK ONLINE"
our response: Eventually, we hope sooner than later. Building a complete independent network and running new infrastructure for it TAKES TIME.....good things are worth waiting for. It's coming, we promise!

Now, eat your breakfast, drink your water, make good choices, and be your best selves! Maybe come wet a line with us!
