It is strange seeing the beaches on Okaloosa Island so quiet, I have enjoyed watching four Ospreys hunting for fish each day. Word is the Okaloosa Island beaches will be open May 1, 2020 for limited hours (6:30am-9am and 4:30pm-7pm) each day with full hours beginning May 9th.
Those of you suffering from cabin fever, we are accepting rental bookings for periods after May 17, everything is sparking clean and disinfected. It is glorious here.
You don’t see many beach shots with no people, chairs or equipment on the beach, but this is what it looks like. Dolphins jumping and birds fishing.

I think “My Happy Place” is an over used term here on Okaloosa Island, but here I am after a week of perfect weather looking out Monday morning at the dolphins playing in the ocean and seeing another perfect week ahead. It puts a great big grin on my face. Doesn’t get better! Check us out we have openings in May.
