💚 One of those moments you never forget…

Living in Alaska as a travel nurse gave me some incredible experiences, but seeing the Aurora Borealis dancing across the sky in shades of green and light blue was absolutely breathtaking. ✨

But the best part wasn’t just seeing the Northern Lights—it was getting to experience it with my friend. ❤️

And when I say it was COLD… 🥶 It was so freezing that I wouldn’t even take my gloves off long enough to readjust the settings on my camera. 😂 At that point, you just take the picture you get and enjoy the moment!

Freezing cold, dancing lights, a good friend beside me, and a memory I’ll never forget. 💚💙

Definitely one of my favorite memories from my travel-nurse days in Alaska.

One of my favorite things about getting to live on Kodiak Island as a travel nurse was the incredible wildlife encounters—and this guy is still one of the most memorable.

He had been digging through the trash, managed to get oil on himself, was soaking wet from the rain, and was sitting by the river looking like he had officially had ENOUGH. 😂🌧️

I saw plenty of beautiful, majestic bald eagles while I lived in Alaska…but I’m pretty sure this was the grumpiest eagle on Kodiak Island.

Honestly, I can’t even blame him. 😂

Only in Alaska… 🦅😂

While living on Kodiak Island as a travel nurse, wildlife encounters became part of everyday life. One of my favorites was watching this little blackbird relentlessly mess with a bald eagle.

Imagine having the entire Alaskan wilderness to fly around in and STILL having that one annoying neighbor who won’t leave you alone. 😂

I loved getting to experience Alaska this way—not just visiting, but actually living there, working there and seeing moments like this happen right in front of me.

Definitely one of my favorite chapters from my travel-nurse years. ❤️🏔️

One of the coolest parts about getting to live on Kodiak Island as a travel nurse was that Alaska never felt ordinary. 🏔️

You never knew what you were going to encounter—including free-range cows and buffalo just roaming around like they owned the place. 😂🐄🦬

Living and working in Alaska gave me experiences I never could have gotten from a quick vacation. The scenery, the wildlife, the people… it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime chapter.

Travel nursing didn’t just take me to a job—it gave me a chance to actually live somewhere most people only dream about visiting. ❤️
