Greetings craft show vendors and attendees alike—

We (the craft bazaar coordinator and the social media responder) will be on vacation this week for the Fourth of July holiday. We will still be around, but responses may be delayed.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ‼️ Please remember, we will NEVER ask you to register OR PAY through Facebook messenger. These are scam accounts who try to take advantage of vendors every. Single. Day. If you see one before I get a chance to block and delete it, please tag Northrop Craft Bazaar (to bring my attention to it) and call it out as a scam to help protect your fellow vendors. ‼️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

A few items of note (for our SUMMER craft show vendors):

If you have emailed out treasurer asking to pay your registration fees online, you should have received that invoice (square payment request) this week.

We are currently paused in accepting new vendors for our summer craft show while we wait for payments to be processed.

If you are mailing a check, please make sure you follow the instructions from your acceptance packet you received last month.

We appreciate all of you and look forward to seeing you next month for our first summer craft bazaar and market!

Come get some chicken and support our band kids!

Join us today! We currently have 250 chickens and a cooler full of potatoes available. Our event will run until 3pm. Your participation will help support the school's band. Funds raised from this event will support our general budget for the upcoming school year.

I know there has been some concerns about processing vendor participation payments -- good news! Our treasurer has been hard at work getting the payment processing issues resolved and we hope to be sending out invoices (to those who have emailed asking to pay their vendor fee) this week!

A reminder as we know the payment deadline is approaching -- we will not give away your spot if *we* are the reason your payment has not been processed yet.

And as always, please be mindful of scammers --- we will NEVER register anyone via Facebook Messages and we will NEVER accept payment through it either. We are working hard to delete scammers and spammers as they post, but thanks for helping protect each other as well --- don't hesitate to call out a scammer if you see them posting on our pages (and you can tag us as well, that will help us find them faster).

Reminder--we will NEVER register you through a FB profile (even this one!). We will redirect you to official channels. If you see a scam/spam account trying to poach a fellow vendor, please tag Northrop Craft Bazaar to help draw our attention to the scam so the potential vendor can be directed appropriately and the scam comments deleted.

Today marks two months out from our first summer craft bazaar! As stated earlier this week, if you applied prior to noon on 5/20/2025, you should have a vendor packet in your email. This packet contains general information and next steps. Please be sure to read your email and follow up as necessary. We want to be able to continue enrolling vendors so we need to confirm who is and isn’t still interested in vending at this summers show.

As we are gearing up for the Summer craft bazaar and market, we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves. As many of you likely have already seen, we have had a leadership transition in our craft bazaar committee. After years of service, our previous Craft Bazaar Coordinator (Kathy W) had some other commitments arise that resulted in her having to refocus her time and energy into other areas. Under her leadership, the BOP craft bazaars continued to grow in such a way that it took, in essence, two of us to fill her shoes.

While the official title of Craft Bazaar Chairperson belongs to Matt Foss, I (his wife Mandie Foss) have jumped in to help with the social media side of the process and will frequently be the one you are speaking with through social media channels.

Don't ever hesitate to reach out through any of our methods (email, facebook, facebook messenger) if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions. We know change is never easy, but our craft bazaar committee has heard (and are working to incorporate) your feedback in order to continue providing an enjoyable experience for you as both vendors and as shoppers. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we are not only incorporating your feedback, but also learning the craft bazaar ropes!

Attention Vendors:

In response to past scammers and spammers taking advantage of current and potential vendors, we are asking for you to partner with us to help protect our community.

We have created an official event for FB promotions in order to better monitor for any potential scammer activity. If you want to promote your attendance and participation in our Summer market, please feel free to share this existing event. This allows us to monitor for anyone with questions and to better remove scam and spam posts.

Potential summer craft vendors—-all vendors that have currently applied (applied as of noon today, 5/20/2025) for the summer craft show, please check your emails as vendor packets for this summers show have been sent out. If you do not see an email from us (please check your spam/junk folders), please reach out and we can confirm what address we emailed it to.

As we are starting to send out emails to vendors for our upcoming (first annual) summer market, it’s great to take a moment to recognize why we (as the BOP Band Booster organization) love what we do. Our Big Orange Pride music department has had a lot to be proud of this year and as this year wraps up, we are already planning for and gearing up for this next year!

We literally could not support these kids without the support of our community—vendors, partners, and community at large. Thank you so much for partnering with us to help these young adults continue to grow not only as musicians but as leaders in our community. We are currently working on emailing vendors, but as volunteers ourselves, sometimes this process can take a few days to complete. If you’ve applied to participate in our summer market keep an eye on your emails this week!
