My husband Brandon and I have been married 12 years and have 3 beautiful (and sometimes crazy) children: Darby (6), Blythe (4), and Jett (3). I am a pharmacist by training and my "day job" is in pharmaceutical industry. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed planning trips and helping others plan fun vacations. Finally, a post completely dedicated to this beautiful ship! The was AMAZING! This ship is able to sail through the fjords thanks to to its low carbon emission design. The staterooms were cozy and spacious with lots of storage, multiple pools for the nicer days and an indoor pool for the not so warm days, and even a really fun kids waterpark! The entertainment was top notch on this ship and we were impressed each night.

Our last stop on our fjords cruise was in Kiel, Germany. We took a train through the beautiful countryside to the city of Lübeck, Germany another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This beautiful city is full of medieval architecture, with the largest amount of tall church towers in the world. The preservation of these 13th century structures is incredible. Our private guide taught us so much about this adorable, old world town. Before we left we had to stop in to Niederegger for marzipan, a German dessert that is headquartered in Lubeck.

Next up: Alesund, Norway.

This bustling town was absolutely adorable and we wished we had more time to explore!

After exploring on arrival we boarded a 1947 cruise boat bound for Hjørundfjorden, the oldest fjord in Norway. This six hour excursion took us through some of the most breathtaking landscape while also educating us on the history of this region of Norway.

Our destination of the tiny town of Øye was the perfect stop to explore a very old hotel and take in what seemed too beautiful to be true. The pictures try to capture a small fraction of the beauty of this country but it needs to be experienced in person!

Next up Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site and truly one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in my life.

After disembarking from the ferry to Geiranger we suited up and boarded a rib boat bound for the fjord. We saw the famous Seven Sisters waterfall as well as many other incredible water falls and old farms up in the fjord. The guide explained many stories about the area and we learned so much. We then walked around the adorable town and stopped at the troll statue before heading back on the ferry to our ship.

For the second half of the day we explored the absolutely beautiful Tivoli Gardens. If you know me, a good theme park is my favorite way to spend a day and this did not disappoint. Tivoli is the second (or third depending on who you talk to) oldest theme park in the world with the oldest wooden roller coaster ever. Everything was adorable and it felt like we were back in time!

We rode all the roller coasters and cleaned up for dinner on the water at what proved to be an epic culinary experience. Danes take their food SERIOUSLY!

Now it’s time to board our ship bound for the Fjords! Follow along with us! 🥳

Copenhagen part one!

We arrived and explored on our own and had a cocktail overlooking the water and then dinner at a delicious taqueria because why not?! 🌮

The next morning we got up early to explore before starting our guided bike tour that ended up being private! We had the best time and learned so much about the culture and history of Denmark. It was truly an amazing experience. 5 miles ridden around Denmark before noon! 🚲

I’m learning all the things (and making all the typical tourist mistakes 😂) to help my clients with their trips!
