✈️ TRAVELLING TO TANZANIA? IMPORTANT TRAVEL ADVISORY 🇹🇿

Please take note of the updated health declaration requirements for all travellers entering Tanzania.

🌍 Tanzania – Health Declaration Required for ALL Travellers

All travellers entering Tanzania must complete an online Health Declaration Form, either before departure or on arrival.

🔗 Complete the form here:

✔️ Provide accurate information.
✔️ Retain your confirmation QR code or reference number.
✔️ Keep it available for verification by port health authorities on arrival.

Health screening, including temperature checks, will be conducted at all points of entry, including airports, land borders and seaports.

These additional measures follow the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The requirement, previously applicable to travellers arriving from or transiting through the DRC or Uganda, has now been extended to all travellers entering Tanzania.

Travellers arriving from or transiting through the DRC, Uganda or Kenya must complete Zanzibar’s Traveler’s Health Surveillance Form:

All arriving international passengers will undergo public health screening at Zanzibar’s designated international airports and seaports.

USA nationals, remember to complete your Visa on Arrival application online before travelling to Namibia.

📝 Apply via the official portal:
https://eservices.mhaiss.gov.na/visaonarrival

Once completed, print your visa document and keep it with your travel documents to present at check-in and upon arrival in Namibia.

✈️ Travel to, from, or within South Africa with Fi****ms & Am******on

If you’re travelling with hunting or sporting fi****ms, it’s important to understand the regulations before you arrive at the airport.

🔸 Travel on flights
(subject to prior arrangement before departure)

Only the following fi****ms may be accepted for carriage as checked baggage:
• Hunting Ri**es
• Hunting Handguns (used for the hunting of game)
• Hunting Sh****ns
• Sport Fi****ms

🇿🇦 South African law requires that fi****ms and am******on are handled separately and declared correctly.

Before check-in:
✅ Fi****ms and am******on must be presented to airport security personnel for inspection.
✅ The relevant fi***rm licence and supporting documentation must be available.
✅ Am******on is limited to 5 kg per passenger.
✅ Am******on must be removed from the fi***rm and packed in a separate, lockable, secure container.

Domestic Travel within South Africa

Please note that hunting and sporting fi****ms and am******on may not be packed together. Am******on must be transported separately from the fi***rm and must not be stored in the same fi***rm case or within the checked baggage containing the fi***rm.

The mandatory 42-day monitoring period has been successfully completed, with no new cases reported. Following the discharge of the last patient on 16 June 2026, the Ministry of Health has officially declared the outbreak over.
