The French Riviera is everything you picture. It’s glamorous, sun-soaked, and truly iconic. And with White Lotus Season 4 being filmed here... it’s a place many have added to their must-visit lists.
But you should know if you want to go in the summer, what to expect.
Between Saint-Tropez beach clubs, yachts in Monaco, and peak-season demand across the Côte d’Azur, summer is one of the most expensive times of year to visit.
You’ll have:
• Premium hotel rates (often 2–3x shoulder season)
• Beach clubs booking out weeks in advance
• Limited availability at the hotels you actually want
• A level of crowding that can shift the entire experience
But it’s still worth a visit, but if summer is your goal, you must plan early and intentionally.
If you’re more flexible? We suggest visiting in May, early June, and September. The weather is still beautiful, the pace feels slower, and your experience is entirely different in the best way.
If you’ve been dreaming of some time in the Riviera (who isn’t!?) let us know, we’d love to start the conversation now so that we can make the perfect trip happen for you!
