After planning hundreds of family vacations, I’ve learned that the best trips rarely look the way people expect.

The itineraries aren’t packed. They don’t focus on checking off every city, museum, or landmark. But, they have space. Time for slow mornings, spontaneous adventures and sometimes no plans at all.

Years from now, your kids probably won’t remember much about the museums and buildings they saw on your trips, but they will remember daily gelato in Italy, building sandcastles in Greece and whale watching in Hawaii.

It’s not always about doing more. It’s about making time for connection and memories which is the whole point of a family trip.

A swimsuit and a power bank... and then one of us may bring their own hot sauce, too. 🌶️ What’s your must pack item when you travel?

BTW: Before you pack those power banks, double-check your airline’s policies. Many airlines limit travelers to two per passenger, and they must be carried onboard, not packed in checked luggage.
