The Union Stockyards, in Fort Worth, obtained its charter on July 26, 1887. So, this year, 2023, marks the 136th anniversary of our beloved Stockyards.
Contrary to what some people say, this NOT the 133rd anniversary.
We want to always educate the public about the correct history.
Come visit the Stockyards Museum and take the mystery out of the history. We are keeping it real.
