One of the perks of staying at the on-site Universal Kids Resort hotel is that you get Early Park Admission one hour before the park opens to the general public AND a dedicated entrance to the park. During Early Park Admission you can play in Illumination's Minions vs Minions: Bello Bay Club and Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom.

We totally took advantage of this time! In the hour before the park opened, we were able to:

- Take a selfie with Bob
- Bounce around on Jellyfish Fields Jamboree,
- Ride on the Barnacle Bus,
- Meet SpongeBob and Patrick together,
- Got soaked on Bobbing Barrels,
- Zoom around at Mrs Puff’s Boating School,
- Take a Bello Bay Cruise.

So much fun!!

From the moment you arrive at Universal Kids in Frisco, the resort lets you know that it’s time for fun! From the bright colors to the playful designs, you can’t help but smile at it all. Check in was super easy and we went straight to our room, and it is so CUTE! My travel buddy immediately claimed the top bunk (and bottom) for herself. We dropped our bag and were off to the park!

Alli and I did a thing today! We’ve headed across town to check out the new Universal Kids in Frisco, Texas. We will be staying at the resort tonight and checking out everything in the park today and tomorrow. Let me know if there’s something specific you want to see!

Today was too chilly and windy for the pool deck, but that didn’t stop us from having a full day of fun! After the spa, I went to a mixology class (more on that later), villains trivia, and a towel folding class! Housekeeping staff teach a class about how to fold the cute towel-gami animals and it is sooo fun! We made a stingray, lobster, dinosaur, and monkey. How’d I do?

Next order of business…relaxation at Senses Spa. Get a pass for the Rainforest Room, get a massage or a facial, get your hair or nails done. They offer all kinds of spa and salon services. The couples massages onboard are in the most amazing spa suites. I loved my Bamboo Massage!
