Cruise line = you get your cruise fare back
Travel insurance = $100k+ medical, $250k evacuation, missed port, baggage, hotel, transfer — YOU are covered
Your US health insurance doesn't work in out of the country or at sea. Medicare? Not outside US at all.
One ER visit at sea = $3k. One evacuation = $100k+
