DASH Adventures Leading trekking trips and climbing expeditions around the world!

What’s not to love in Iceland?!? Volcanos. Canyons. Waterfalls. And, Jesse Tubb will be our trip leader for the August 2027 Iceland trek!

Jesse is well known in adventure racing circles, both in the USA and internationally. He is also a resiliency coach, retired military, and an all around amazing human.

We select a weekday start in late August, when few people are on this normally very busy route. You’ll be tent camping each night, with the option for some serious glamping on night 5. And 3 nights we camp near a restaurant; you have options outside of heating up those tasty (😋) dehydrated meals.

So come join us for trekking the Laugavegur trail, Iceland’s most famous backpacking route, over 6 days and 5 nights!

Once again, DASH Adventures will travel to the Roof of Africa for a Kilimanjaro trip with an optional add-on safari!!

Our trips have sold out the last two years, and it’s clear why. We pick dates when the mountain is less busy, during the dry season, and all trekkers have the hands-on guidance and training from Dave Ashley during our 7 days in the mountain. Last July our guide company had 7 groups attempt the summit on the same day; DASH was the only group with 100% summit success!

Compare our pricing with other Western guide companies, and you’ll see we are more affordable too. We also include 3 hotel nights and clean, portable toilets on our standard package.

See the links below or contact us for more details.

Relaxing in a Land Rover on a safari is a great way to relax after your Kili climb! And if you have others that want to pass on the climb, they can join you on the safari. Ask us about options for them to relax on the beach of nearby Zanzibar while you climb!

Kilimanjaro stands at an impressive 5,895 m/19,340 ft above sea level, making it the highest free-standing mountain globally and earning it the title of the "Roof of Africa." Mount Kilimanjaro is a top travel destination on the continent, attracting over 40,000 visitors annually. Its popularity is d...

First new trip for 2027, we are adding another Peru group for January!

Due to popular demand and our other trips selling out with a wait list, we are offering another option to visit Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and the Colored mountains.

Dates: 11-20 January
Location: Fly into/out of Cusco, Peru

This is a custom-created itinerary just for DASH Adventures! We’ll stay in cozy hotels and lodges, view Inca ruins and natural wonders, and enjoy farm to table fresh food (great options for vegetarians and vegans, as well as fresh beef, chicken and alpaca meat for carnivores).

The is one of our less challenging trekking trips. You luggage is transferred each day, so you only carry a small day pack. You are in hotels and lodges with a breakfast included. And the Sacred Valley lies around 8–12,000 feet of elevation, so it’s on the low side for most DASH trekking trips.

Dave Ashley will be your trip leader.

See our WeTravel link for more details.

New 2027 trips are on the way!!

Stay tuned this week for details on adventures in Peru, Nepal, Tanzania, and Iceland!! And that's just to start. Our trips have been selling out, so sign up or miss out...

And unlike this smoothie brand we saw in Iceland last month, our adventures are not "KRAP" 😆 We are pleased to share some comments from recent reviews:

- Dave ensured we connected well as a group, explored some amazing scenery, and had a great adventure along the way. I highly recommend going on a trip with DASH Adventures. I’m already looking forward to my next trip.

- This is my third trip with DASH Adventures and Dave never fails to deliver a first class experience. He always makes the logistics seamless and focuses on making every trip the best experience possible.

- Dave set up a world class trip! We had an experienced group and he suggested a more challenging option for us and it was perfect. His knowledge of the area made planning and preparing for the trip easy.

- Our safari with Dash Adventures was an amazing experience! The jeep was comfortable, the service was excellent, and our driver Anold was professional, patient, and an excellent communicator.

- This was my second trip with Dash Adventures, and once it again it was outstanding. Dash partners with local guides to make it a truly awesome experience.

- Amazing experience! Exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended!

From our friends at Expedition Himalaya

Nepal Is Going Through a Difficult Time.

We Stand Together!

Dear Friends and Partners,
The flash floods along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river corridors on August 26 have caused deep pain and hardship for many communities in central Nepal. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, especially those who have lost loved ones, homes and livelihoods. The full impact of the disaster is still being assessed, while search, rescue, and relief efforts continue. At this difficult time, we also want to share a message that we believe is important for our friends, partners, and travelers around the world.

Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund:

The recent disaster has severely affected specific areas along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli corridors, but it does not represent the situation across Nepal. Most trekking routes, mountain destinations, cultural sites, hotels, airlines, guides, and tourism businesses continue to operate.

Tourism is more than travel in Nepal. It supports thousands of guides, porters, local businesses, families, and communities. By continuing to travel responsibly, when conditions are safe, you can help keep these communities moving forward.

We believe in Nepal, its people, and the ongoing efforts of the Government of Nepal. We are doing our part, closely monitoring the situation, supporting our communities, and always putting the safety of our guests and team first.

There are many ways to stand with Nepal at a time like this.
If you would like to make a direct contribution toward relief and recovery efforts, you can support the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund through the official channel below.
Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund
We also want to do our part through what we know best: tourism.
For every member who books a trip with Expedition Himalaya, we will contribute an additional USD 50 per person toward disaster relief and recovery, on top of the support we are already providing to our team and local communities.

Your journey can now mean a little more. By choosing to travel responsibly, you help support the guides, porters, lodges, drivers, and communities who depend on tourism, while also contributing directly to relief efforts. Nepal has always welcomed the world. Today, we hope the world will continue to stand with Nepal.

With solidarity and hope,
Expedition Himalaya

34 miles Laugavegur trail complete!! And we proceeded to Skogafoss, a ~17 mile one day extension. From black volcanic rock, through bubbling hot pools and sulfur vents, down into majestic gorges, into the forest, and down a trail of over 20 waterfalls to the coastline…all over 6 days.

More photos to follow!! And, we’ll be releasing details of next year’s trip in a few days 😀

DASH Adventures is in Iceland 🇮🇸, and we arrive at the Landmannalauger trailhead tomorrow morning!

We’ll spend our first day there taking a scenic hike and enjoying a natural hot spring.

Over the next 6 days we’ll hike south through lava fields, past sulfur vents and multi-colored rock formations, over hills, across rivers and sandy basins, along deep gorges and through forests, and finally over a mountain range to end up at Iceland’s southern coast and the majestic Skogafoss waterfall!

You can follow us via our Garmin InReach satellite tracker here: https://live.garmin.com/DASHAdventures

Cell and WiFi service will likely be intermittent or out of range until the last two days of the trek, so don’t expect to hear updates from us until then.

Tomorrow we are off to Iceland, traveling in the land of Volcanos and Waterfalls with several of good friends and hopeful to make some new ones. DASH Adventures "Climbing Mountains and Making Friends" will continue!

We’ll be sharing new adventures for our 2027 schedule soon, with options for Everest Base Camp, Cho Oyu (an 8,000 meter peak), Tour du Mont Blanc, Kilimanjaro, Iceland, Patagonia, Ecuador, and a cruise in the Galapagos. In addition to our already sold-out Peru trip in January, 2027 is going to be filled with international adventure and climbing! Thankful for our US-based partner CrawDaddy Outdoors and our international teammates around the world.

And DASH Adventures is partnering with Rev3 Endurance to host our first adventure race here in Utah! Saturday, September 26, come race a 5 hour mountain bike and trek in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, just 10 minutes from my hometown of Kamas. We'll be adding more races in 2027, including a fundraiser for the National Ability Center in honor of Shelley.

We'll also be doing snowshoe tours this winter in the forest, in addition to a winter climbing training weekend for those looking to summit their first glaciated peak or tackle challenges like Mount Rainer and Denali.

Lots to look forward to in 2027, so stay tuned for details!!
