It's so hard to see new Franklin in old Franklin. I wouldn't be convinced that this is Main Street if it weren't for St. Paul's Episcopal Church down there on the right as well as the Gray's neon sign. We sure have seen some changes! It's wild to think that at one point, the Maury Darby building was free standing. It was built between 1815 & 1817 and is the oldest building on the Square. Now home to Twine Graphics | Screen Printing | Franklin TN, this building has also been a bank, a "doctor's shop" and a law office. This image shows what it may have looked like. Neat. 😊
