straight out of an italian fairytale 🏰🍋🇮🇹

started in 📍 sirmione ~ the medieval peninsula town known as the pearl of lake garda ✨

🏰 castello scaligero ~ iconic 14th-century castle surrounded by water
🪻 wandered the pedestrian-only old town + found the famous bougainvillea-covered flower house
🌊 spiaggia delle muse ~ little lakeside beach tucked beside the old town
💋 “kiss please” ~ inspired by the love poetry of catullus

then took a private vintage italian boat across lake garda from sirmione to bardolino ↓

🏛️ grotte di catullo ~ ancient roman villa ruins overlooking the lake
🏰 villa borghese cavazza ~ dreamy neo-gothic villa on its own island
⛪️ little historic church at punta san vigilio
🌿 villa carlotti canossa ~ historic lakeside estate

honestly one of those places that felt like a movie set 🥹✨

🚠 to get there: ortisei → furnes → seceda
🥾 walk the seceda ridgeline for those iconic panoramic views (the 1.5 hr uphill walk is 1000% worth it!!)
✨ at the top, you’re over 8,200 ft up with views in every direction!
→ left = the jagged odle/geisler peaks 🏔️
→ right = dreamy rolling alpine meadows 🌼
covered in wildflowers during the summer!!
