We are one of 2 in the county licensed to dig on our own property and find lots of garnets, rubies, sapphires and other gems. You can dig your own bucket from the mining tunnels or purchase an enhanced bucket.

Our owner and geologist, Sean Price, presented a talk on geology, minerals and mining to the Smoky Mountain Elementary School recently.
His setup included tools that geologists use, economic minerals including ones from North Carolina, an assortment of native elements, and interesting minerals and fossils from around the world!
