Viva NashVegas®!
When the Sphere opened in Las Vegas in September 2023, it quickly became one of the most talked-about entertainment venues on the planet. With a $2.3 billion build cost and capacity for up to 20,000 fans, this massive arena is unlike anything else in the world.
The outside is covered in a giant LED display that lights up the Vegas skyline, while the inside features a 16K-resolution screen wrapping the entire space and more than 160,000 speakers delivering sound to every seat. Add in wind, vibration, and environmental effects, and you have a concert experience that hits different on every level.
Big names like U2, The Eagles, Kenny Chesney, and Zac Brown Band have already called it home. Zac Brown Band sold out their run so fast they had to add more dates, and Zac Brown called it a dream come true.
Now Sphere Entertainment is reportedly expanding, with locations planned near Washington D.C. and in Abu Dhabi. And according to Axios, Nashville may be in the conversation too. Sphere reps have reportedly met with Music City executives about a potential future venue.
Could the world’s most immersive concert experience be coming to Tennessee? We’re watching closely.
