Authentic Syrian street food right here in Downtown Fredericksburg!

For this episode of Living in Fredericksburg, I stopped by Dubai Shawarma & Cafe, a new family-owned restaurant serving authentic Syrian and Mediterranean food.

We tried a little bit of everything 👇

🥙 Lamb shawarma wrap
🍗 Chicken shawarma over rice with tahini
🥮 Pistachio baklava
🍮 Muhalabia, a traditional Syrian dessert
🍯 Mushabak
🥤 And a Vimto soda, which I had never tried before… and it was actually delicious 😂

One of my favorite parts about living in the Fredericksburg area is getting to check out locally owned businesses like this and experience food from different cultures without leaving our community.

If you’re in Downtown Fredericksburg and looking to try something different, add Dubai Shawarma & Cafe to your list!
