🌲 3 things you should know about outdoor life in Fredericksburg!

1️⃣ The Rappahannock River is a huge part of the area. Whether it’s kayaking, fishing, hitting the trails, or just finding a quiet spot by the water, there are plenty of ways to enjoy it.

2️⃣ We have some awesome parks and trails. Motts Run Reservoir, Alum Spring Park, and the Canal Path & Heritage Trail are just a few local favorites for getting outside. 🥾

3️⃣ Outdoor life is closer than you might think. One of my favorite things about Fredericksburg is being able to enjoy downtown and then be on a trail or sitting by the river just minutes later. 🌳

There’s a lot more to Fredericksburg than I-95 and Route 3 😂

🌳 Looking for a park to explore in Spotsylvania County? Check out Cosner Park!

Whether you’re looking to play a game of pickleball, shoot some hoops, let the kids enjoy the playground, or have a picnic, this park has plenty to offer. You’ll also find baseball fields, open green space, restrooms, and even a few trails that lead down to the water.

Fair warning… those trails are steep! 😅 I found that out the hard way and took a pretty good spill, so if you see me covered in mud at the end of the video, now you know why.
