After working about 8 years as an independent contractor she started a private massage therapy practice called A Brook in the Way. Offering:
Therapeutic Massage: a combo of Swedish & deep tissue techniques for relief of tension and pain. Ashiatsu: a deep compression massage performed with the therapist's feet, provides a flushing, lengthening effect for the muscles which makes it a good choice for athletes. Bamboo Fusion: massage done with warm bamboo tools to provide a relaxing experience with increased detox benefit.

Sorry I've been out of touch for so long. After being reopened for 2 weeks in May there was a water back up in the building where my office is. Repairs have been a long drawn out process but it looks like I will be able to reopen in October. Got a side job to hold me over. Will update when I am back in business.

Yesterday I took all my houseplants outside; including the two that had been in my massage office. I added some fresh potting mix and a little fertilizer then gave them a good watering. They looked so happy soaking up the sun with their little leaves flapping in the breeze! May we all absorb what nourishes us and enjoy some time in the fresh air and sunshine as often as we can. Stay well!

As I'm sure you've heard, all non-essential businesses are closed for at least the next 30 days per Governor Northam's mandate as we work together to take measures to slow the spread of Covid 19. This, of course, includes A Brook in the Way. My personal goal for this time is to do some major decluttering and organizing around my house and to complete required continuing education online. I will miss seeing everyone but will be praying that you stay safe and healthy. I am resting in the incomprehensible love and peace of God. Be well everyone!
