We've got oysters on our mind with The Maine Oyster Festival coming up on June 29 & 30. We're biased and think the Festival is pretty fantastic, but we tell people all the time the very best way to learn about oysters is to get out on a farm. Seacoast Tours of Freeport LLC offers two tours every Saturday. You'll board the Pamela B in South Freeport, cruise out to Mere Point Oyster Farm, sample the fresh oysters direct from the sea, paired with a glass of wine or local microbrew.
