What an AMAZING night of cars and community with Sick Summer! Contestants were coming into downtown after a long day of racing in Union Grove, WI and we are so grateful to have them stop by for the night. Thanks to fantastic group of partners and volunteers who helped make this possible - Castor Health Institute (parking lot), Davis and Company Productions (sound and DJ), Loeffler Wealth Management (communication), and Eric Olson and Rex Bolen for manning the checkpoint.
We have so many great ideas for next year and can't wait to see you back!

The Partnership GETS AROUND ... to a lot of meetings!
Representing the interests of partners and businesses from throughout Freeport and Stephenson County, Partnership staff attends webinars, meetings, and events to bring valuable information back to each of our members. Just last week, staff attended and hosted:
- Rep. Tony McCombie Legislative Wrap-Up Session
- Rockford Business Summit at Rockford University
- Quad City Regional Economic Development Authority Board
- Women in Business hosted by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce
- Hosted a Workforce Alignment meeting for local partners
- Recast City partner meeting with communities across the country
- Hosted downtown business meeting with remarks from Freeport Police Chief Jacqueline Frausto

Thomas G Bongiorno, Financial Advisor, WestPoint Financial Group provides financial, investment, and insurance planning services for individuals and families throughout the Freeport area. The firm brings over 70 years of combined experience across three financial advisors and offers complimentary guidance and consultations, with an open-door approach that encourages anyone to reach out with questions on any financial or insurance topic, even if they are not a client.

The team is also hosting a FREE Financial Workshop at the Freeport Public Library on Wednesday, June 17, at 6 pm. Open to all ages, the workshop will cover the importance of saving, investing, and building a strong financial foundation. Light refreshments will be provided. It was an inspiring day filled with meaningful conversations, valuable networking opportunities, and insightful discussions on leadership, innovation, workforce development, AI, and the future of business.
