Before, and after working on the clapboards in the back of the house near the patio. I knew this 200 year-old house was not going to be or have any true 90° angles anywhere and that was the case. This was more like artwork and estimation, than construction and accurate measurements.

So the 2026 season is among us and it’s time to finish up the work on the old girl! Over the coming 2-3 months the remaining new clapboards will go on, cleaning and oiling of the front deck, painting, and some plantings will be completed. Looking forward to a great season!

Got the new/homemade flagpole ( made from a spruce tree I took down a year ago) up and flying the Stars and Stripes! Also got the original state of Maine flag up as well
