Still reminiscing about the most incredible CMH heli-hiking trip!
Imagine pristine wilderness all around, dipping into glacial lakes, tackling via ferrata routes with jaw-dropping views, and not seeing another soul outside our little group of fellow adventurers at Bobbie Burns Lodge for three whole days. It was pure magic and a reminder of why these off-the-beaten-path experiences are worth every moment.
One of the most surprising and amazing parts of the trip was just how flexible it all was. We had teens, grandparents, and every age and fitness level in between at the lodge, and everyone found their own groove. Some stuck to hiking, others opted for the via ferrata routes, and plenty did a mix of both. It’s a true choose your own adventure setup, with expert guides tailoring the experience to each person’s comfort level. You don’t have to be a hardcore athlete to have the trip of a lifetime.
