When booking a resort or hotel stay, you may see the option to upgrade to a club level room or suite.

So, is it worth it?

The answer depends on how you like to travel.

Club level can sometimes include perks such as:

Private or priority check-in
Access to a club lounge
Breakfast, snacks, or evening appetizers
Upgraded room location or view
Dedicated concierge service
Premium beverages
Quieter spaces to relax
Extra service throughout your stay

For some travelers, those added conveniences can make the trip feel more comfortable and relaxed especially for anniversaries, honeymoons, adult getaways, family trips, or special celebrations.

But it is not always the right choice for every trip.

Before upgrading, ask:

Will I actually use the lounge or extra amenities?
How much time will I spend at the resort or hotel?
Are meals or drinks already included?
Is the upgraded room location important to me?
Does the added cost match the value I will receive?

Sometimes club level is absolutely worth it. Other times, that money may be better spent on a private transfer, special dining experience, excursion, spa appointment, or an extra night.
