Did you know Labor Day actually has its roots in the Industrial Revolution? As factories and industries grew, workers fought for better working conditions, fairer hours, and time to rest. Eventually, Labor Day became a federal holiday in 1894, a day set aside to recognize the contributions of American workers AND give people a little well-deserved time off.

And honestly… I can think of no better way to celebrate all that labor than by spending some of that hard-earned money on a FAMILY VACATION. 😂🏰✨

You work hard. You provide. You make memories. You pour into your kids. You keep the house running. You show up day after day.

So why not celebrate all that hard work somewhere magical? 💕

I’m going to be honest… spoiling our kids is one of our greatest joys in this life. 😂🤍

My husband and I have worked hard, since we were very young, to give our girls the best life we can imagine. So please don’t judge me when you read this next part…

We’re staying at our first DELUXE resort this November/December. 👀✨

And we are going ALL. OUT.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? ✔️
Christmas parties? ✔️
Multi Pass? ✔️
Staying at Wilderness Lodge? BIG ✔️

And honestly, my husband and I might be more excited about the resort than anything else. 😂

I know this because when I showed the girls where we were staying, they were… underwhelmed.

They wanted to know why we weren’t staying at Art of Animation again. 🫠

Cue my husband and I standing there with our shoulders slumped and blank stares like, “We’re trying to give you luxury, CHILD.” 😂😂

In their defense… we LOVE Art of Animation. It’s colorful, fun, immersive, and honestly just feels like Disney magic from the second you walk in. So I guess they have a point. 🤷🏼‍♀️

But now I’m curious…

Are you a Value resort girlie, a Moderate girlie, or a Deluxe girlie? 👀

And there is NO wrong answer! I genuinely love planning them all. Sometimes the resort is where you splurge, sometimes you’d rather save that money for parks, food, or more trips—and I’m here for either strategy. ✨

I made it back into the top six in our agency last month 🥹✨

My blessings truly feel unending, and I don’t take a single booking, referral, share, or kind word for granted. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for supporting this little venture of mine. 🤍

Normally, today would have been the first day back at school for me.

Instead, I was up at 5:00 this morning making dining reservations for one of my Disney families, got to crawl back into bed for a little more sleep, and then woke up to start our homeschool day with my girls. 🥹❤️

I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am for this life.

Leaving the classroom was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but getting to teach my own babies while building a business around something I absolutely love has been such a gift.

So, to every single family who has trusted me to plan your vacations, thank you. Truly.

Every dining reservation, every itinerary, every 5 AM alarm, every late-night booking… it all allows me to be home, present, and teaching my babies.

You’re not just booking a vacation with me. You’re helping make this life possible for our family, and I will never take that for granted. ✨

I'll be honest, as a classroom teacher, I was always a little surprised when students missed an entire week of school for a family vacation.

Now, as a homeschool mom, I'm ecstatic about traveling during lower crowd seasons. There's something so sweet about shorter lines, slower mornings, and getting to experience the magic without quite so many people around.

At the end of the day, I truly believe life is for living. Family memories are priceless, and every family has to decide what works best for them. Whether your vacations happen during Christmas break, spring break, summer vacation, or a random Tuesday in September, there's no wrong answer, just the one that fits your family best.
