🚨 DISNEY MONEY-SAVING HACK 🚨

And I absolutely will NOT be gatekeeping this one in this economy. 😂

Many of you already know about the Sam’s Club Disney gift card hack that I swear by. I actually have a client using this method right now and saving at least a couple hundred dollars toward their trip. STACK that with a Disney promotion and whew… we love to see it. 👏🏼

BUT… my husband and I tried a new money-saving hack this week and y’all…

WIN.

We religiously shop at Kroger because my husband drives a diesel, and we can often earn 4X — and sometimes even 5X — fuel points on our groceries.

We also earn double miles at grocery stores with our airline card, so between the fuel savings and the miles, we’re getting more than enough value to justify our Kroger Boost membership.

But then I realized something…

👀 You know those 4X and sometimes 5X fuel points on gift cards at Kroger?

THEY SELL DISNEY GIFT CARDS.

So we purchased two $500 Disney gift cards toward our trip to test this strategy during a 5X fuel point promotion.

That earned us:

✨ 5,000 fuel points

And because my husband drives a diesel, that can mean $1 OFF per gallon when redeeming the points — enough for us to use that discount across five fill-ups, depending on the amount of fuel purchased and Kroger’s redemption limits.

So basically…

💰 Disney money →
⛽ fuel savings →
✈️ AND we’re still earning our credit card miles.

At this point, I’m looking at every grocery store gift card display like:

“Can this somehow pay for Disney?” 😂

Is it a little extra effort? Yes.

You do have to go in-store for this particular gift card strategy, while the Sam’s hack is super convenient because those gift cards can go straight to your email.

But I will NEVER miss an opportunity to save money on a Disney trip when I can stack the savings like this.

Where have I BEEN lately?! 😂

Well… booking Lightning Lanes, fighting for dining reservations, building itineraries, booking transportation, answering vacation questions, and shipping out client gifts! 🎁

WHEW. The holiday travel season is officially in full swing over here. 😂

I feel like I blinked and suddenly we’re talking Christmas trips, holiday parties, dining reservations, and all the little details that come with getting ready for a vacation.

It’s been BUSY, but the good kind of busy. ❤️

So if I’ve been a little quiet around here lately… that’s where I’ve been! Just behind the scenes, yapping about vacations and helping families get ready for some really sweet memories.
