We’re taking over Eastham Park for a full day of family fun celebrating the Shenandoah River — made possible by the incredible team at Warren County Parks and Recreation — with live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and more than enough to keep the kids (and adults) busy.
Butter making. Weaving. Paper making. Brick oven pizza and Ice Cream. Plus a build-your-own boat race, a duck race, and a few surprises.
You’ll also get the chance to connect with local heroes from Warren County Fire and Rescue and the Warren County Virginia Sheriff's Office — along with community partners like Samuels Public Library who help bring these events to life.
Through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and community participation, we’re bringing history to life in a way that’s engaging, accessible, and fun for all ages.
Warren County VA250 events are developed in collaboration with local organizations, volunteers, educators, and community partners to ensure programming that is historically grounded, welcoming, and engaging.
