Lovely Lisbon!🇵🇹
From the Mosteiros dos Jerónimos (Hieronymites Monastery) to a sunset cruise along the Rio Tejo (Tagus River), there was so much to take in!

⛪️ The Monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage site, famous in part for its stunning architecture, and its final resting place of notable figures, including Vasco de Gama
🌉The 25 de Abril Suspension Bridge is reminiscent of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA
✝️ Cristo Rei is Portugals version of Rio’s infamous Christ the Redeemer statue, and is a symbol of the counties neutrality during WWII
⛵️ Monument of Discoveries on the banks of the Tagus River celebrates Portugal’s “Age of Discovery” during the 15th & 16th centuries, where ships departed to explore and trade with India and the Orient (East of Europe).
