Day One of the 2026 Loose Screws Tour found us in the Arco, ID area, touring the EBR-1, which is the world’s first nuclear power plant.

It is pretty impressive, definitely worth the drive into the desert.

Your town may be cool, but is it “we’ve got the conning tower from world’s first nuclear submarine, in the park” cool?

We were super thankful Idaho decided to drop their fire restrictions the week we were there. We woke up to mid 20’s temps almost every day of the week.

One of the crappy parts of Loose Screws 2018 was the mud. It seemed as if every wash we ended up in was only a few hours after flooding. A week of rain made the mud unavoidable.

To the owner of the car wash in Blanding… I’m sorry.

Loose screws Tour 2022

If you’ve never been to the Deep Creek Mountains on the western edge of Utahs west desert, you’re really missing out. With peaks reaching well over 12,000 ft they are truly an oasis in the desert.

This was our first nights camp and we probably could have just stayed here all week.

Sept 21st 2024

The first night of LST 2024 will go down as one of the coolest camps in the groups history. Camped on the shore of a dry lake, the stars, the scenery and the stories around the campfire was nothing short of amazing.
