From Sept. 9-12 two pillars of light will rise from Mt. Washington in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of 9/11. The Honor Summit pays tribute to those who lost their lives and all who were affected by the events of that day. More info can be found here: honorsummitnh.org

If you are hoping to be on the summit during this special event, the will be running a special evening train on the 11th and 12th and the will be running guided van tours on Sept. 9, 10, and 12th. Both can be booked directly through their websites.

In just three months in New Hampshire, Arctic Lights Night Snow Tubing gets underway for the season at the Cranmore Mountain Resort as one of the most memorable experiences of the year in the state! The fun typically begins in late December, when Cranmore’s tubing hill comes alive after dark with changing LED lights, music, and glowing snow lanes. Riders fly down the groomed hill before hopping aboard the magic carpet lift for an easy trip back to the top. Night tubing is normally offered on select evenings through mid-March, with admission covering two hours of riding. The tubing park sits at the base of Cranmore between the main base lodge and Artist Falls Lodge, which opened in 2022 as a base for tubing and adventure park activities. Guests ages 6 and older can ride alone, while children ages 3 to 5 share a double tube with a paying adult. Nearby attractions include the Mountain Coaster, Soaring Eagle Zip Ride, and Giant Swing.
