🎄❤️ Meet Our 2026 Christmas Parade Grand Marshal: Re-Made for a Purpose! ❤️🎄

When we chose “Christmas with a Purpose” as the theme for this year’s Missouri’s Christmas City Parade, we wanted it to represent more than the celebration of the season. We wanted it to recognize the people and places who make our community better by putting purpose into action every day.

We can think of no better example than Re-Made for a Purpose, and we are incredibly honored to announce them as our 2026 Grand Marshal!

For more than a decade, Re-Made for a Purpose has been creating opportunities for adults with disabilities right here in Fulton. Their nonprofit boutique provides meaningful, gainful employment while allowing employees to use their individual talents, creativity and abilities — from helping customers and working the register to creating unique upcycled décor, clothing and gifts.

But what happens inside Re-Made is about so much more than a shop.

It is about purpose.
It is about independence.
It is about belonging.
It is about recognizing the gifts every person brings to our community and giving those gifts a place to shine.

And perhaps that is what makes them such a beautiful reflection of this year’s theme. At Re-Made for a Purpose, even the idea of “re-made” carries special meaning — seeing possibility, creating something meaningful and reminding us that everyone has something valuable to contribute.

This Christmas season, we are honored to celebrate an organization that has spent more than 10 years making a difference in Fulton and in the lives of the people who walk through its doors.

Okay, friends! 🎄❤️ While we’re busy behind the scenes getting everything ironed out for this year’s holiday season, we thought we’d have a little fun!

🎄✨ **BIG NEWS FOR MISSOURI’S CHRISTMAS CITY 2026!** ✨🎄

Save the date and help us spread the word — we have some exciting updates for this year’s 99th Christmas parade!

🎅 **Saturday, December 5 at 4:00 P.M.**

That’s right — **our parade will begin at 4 P.M. this year!**

🎄 **2026 Theme: Christmas with a Purpose**
❤️ **Grand Marshal: Remade for a Purpose**

We’re especially excited about the new 4 p.m. start because it gives everyone even more time to make a day of Christmas in downtown Fulton! Come early, **shop our downtown stores, participate in the Sneaky Snowman, grab lunch, and enjoy everything downtown has to offer** before finding your spot for the parade. 🎁☕🛍️

And this year, we’re bringing together two traditions from years past by **combining our traditional Christmas Parade and Lighted Christmas Parade into one big community celebration!**

✨ **Want to light up your float? Please do!** Lighted entries will be placed toward the **end of the parade lineup**, giving the sun a little more time to go down so those Christmas lights can really shine as the parade makes its way through town.

🎅 **A very important Santa reminder:** Our official **Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be the only Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus in the parade.** We ask that no additional Santa or Mrs. Claus characters be included on parade floats or entries so we can keep their arrival extra special for the kids.

📍 Parade lineup will once again take place at the **Fulton Rec-Plex**, and we will follow the **same parade route as last year.** The route map and complete lineup information will be shared closer to the event.

And there’s more coming! 👀🎁 We are also planning a **Christmas Market** as part of this year’s festivities. Stay tuned for details!

Yesterday was an incredible day for Missouri’s Christmas City and the Fulton community.

We are proud to officially announce that through the support of our sponsors, golfers, donors, volunteers, and community partners, the Protect & Putt Golf Tournament successfully raised and donated $11,408.04 to help fund a new K-9 officer for the Fulton Police Department! We did it!

We had the honor of presenting the check to Fulton Police Chief Bill Ladwig and Deputy Chief Dall Hedges, along with a commemorative plaque that will hang inside the police station recognizing all of the sponsors and supporters who helped make this possible.

What started as an idea to bring our community together through an event turned into something so much bigger — a project that will directly support the safety of our city for years to come.

This would not have been possible without every business, sponsor, golfer, volunteer, donor, and community member who stepped up to support the mission. Fulton showed up in a BIG way.

This is exactly what Missouri’s Christmas City is about: Community. Service. Purpose.

And we’re just getting started. ❤️🎄🐾

Thank you for having us!!

Jody Paschal, Kristina Bright, and Keli Tate told Fulton Rotary about Missouri's Christmas City, a nonprofit they've established to work on community betterment projects. They organize the annual Christmas Parade and recently held a golf tournament to raise $10,000 to purchase a dog for the Fulton Police Department.

What an incredible day at the Protect & Putt Golf Tournament! ⛳🐾

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated, sponsored, donated, volunteered, and supported this event. Because of this amazing community, we are proud to say we officially raised enough funds for the Fulton Police Department to purchase a new K9 officer!

A special thank you to Railwood Golf Club for being such an amazing host and helping make the day a success from start to finish. We are also incredibly grateful to Teel Mechanical for serving as our Top Dawg Sponsor and for their tremendous support of this mission.

Congratulations to Spencer Barnard, winner of the Golden Boy rifle raffle! We also want to give a huge thank you to Squawvalley Outdoors for generously donating the raffle prize and supporting this event.
