Jeremy here! My wife and I just had a wonderful couple days in London. Our stay at Red Carnation Hotels Rubens at the Palace and our visit with our friend Mr. Pike (Managing Director of The Milestone Hotel & Residences) were incredible. Five star all the way. When you are ready for a few days in London, these two properties will always be at the top of our recommendations. And since we have such a great relationship with all RCH properties, you will have added amenities and will be treated as a true VIP.

Who says you can only celebrate Thanksgiving in the U.S.? President Patty has arrived at Ashford Castle for a week of 5-star Irish culture, beauty and gastronomy. We wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving no matter where you celebrate it.

Day 2: Before we left Calgary, I gave George and John a piece of my mind at and finally understood what was all about. then took us up into the Rockies, and we checked into , and I wasted absolutely no time walking across the infamous lake while it is still frozen over. Lake Louise has been on my list for a long time, and I can finally check it off. There's only one way to do this destination properly, and we are doing it. Somehow, my sunglasses broke while they were in my coat pocket. The hotel concierge had a new pair in my hands within minutes. It's not easy for five-star hotels to become Virtuoso Preferred Properties, and the ones that do are there for a reason. This hotel was built in the late 19th century and has been a mascot of true luxury ever since. Today is dog sledding day so it's time to go get some breakfast and strap on my snow boots.

Just because Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is 5-star luxury, does not mean it's stuffy and pretentious. Quite the opposite. Last night's 70's party is a great example.

Passenger comradery. Some people like to meet new and fun people when they travel - others do not. However, what ALL passengers are hoping for is a friendly environment where you feel included and accepted. This can't happen unless the environment is just right. Uniworld Boutique River Cruises does a great job of providing an atmosphere of sophistication and fun at the same time. These three couples just met each other two days ago. They now eat all three meals together, have all hit the dance floor together, and have all explored castles and unfamiliar villages together. We have met or said hi to almost every passenger onboard, and not a single one of them seems to feel left out or unwanted. Passenger comradery needs to happen organically, but it can only do so if the conditions are just right. Uniworld provides that environment.

I would love to tell you all about our first day in Germany, but today's focus is cuisine. Uniworld Boutique River Cruises isn't 5-star luxury simply for ambiance and service (though they excel at both)... True luxury requires the ability to wow your palate as well. Every ingredient served was clearly carefully selected for each dish. What's really amazing is that the quality doesn't change even if you have food allergies. I'm onboard with vegetarians, vegans, anti-gluteners, etc... ALL have been just as wow'd as us "eat anythingers".
