At Disney’s All-Star music resort room type matters because it affects how far you’ll walk to the buses and the food court.

A preferred room put you closer to these spots, which can feel especially valuable when you’re coming back tired after a park day. A standard room costs less and will give you the same amenities but you may have a longer walk.
