I had the opportunity last fall to connect with some phenomenal outdoor brands and discovered some of the lesser-known conservation efforts that some of them are doing, even at the expense of making a profit sometimes. How often do you hear companies say that? I enjoyed going behind the scenes with the teams from Scarpa, Simms Fishing Products, Johnson Outdoors, Patagonia, YETI and Costa Sunglasses to share some of these cool environmental conservation efforts in my latest story for Kinute.

I always start my intensive Friday morning ThreeWordPress work window with a happy and motivated headspace for productive focus, a cup of coffee and a minute to mess on social media before I start as an outlet to shake of the distractions.
Next week is a big launch week for an intensive project and a few bubbling things that also need my attention.

New for my company this year is a commitment of dedicated time in the week to work on my business development - advancing new potential projects, squaring away admin things, working on my newsletter, updating my website and my content for my own brand. I find that these details often get last billing when I am solely focused on executing the things that pay the bills. I've discovered that keeping my business foundation a priority and dedicating time must be scheduled and it's essential. So, here I am, in my favorite place for inspiration getting it done today.

I'm so dedicated to every story that I write and deeply engaged in each so I feel like every published piece is my favorite - including my latest deep-dive article for Kinute on the miniature animal movement. Learning about the mini versions of already adorable farm animals that are making an environmental difference melted my heart.

Five years ago, Crystal Black and Jacob Daigle left their full-time jobs to start a homestead on a seven-acre farm in Parrish, Alabama. Shifting their lives to start Sunset Hill Farm was the beginning of a dedicated journey focused solely on sustainability and the environment.

I am looking forward to participating in the Destin, FL Fishing Rodeo this fall and wrapping my mind around the many awesome saltwater opportunities available, so my latest blog post is a re-visit to learning the ropes of surf fishing. I tried this for the first time a few years ago and it's a fun learning curve that can literally knock you off your feet, but what a blast!
