I’m launching a new Untamed Tribe campaign: Open the Field: Scholarships & Gear Access for Veterans.

The goal is simple: help remove the cost barriers that keep veterans and low-income participants from getting into outdoor training, field skills, and expedition-readiness programs.

Funds raised will support two things:

Scholarships for participants who need financial assistance
A gear lending closet so people can borrow essential outdoor equipment instead of having to buy everything upfront

Outdoor training builds confidence, discipline, resilience, and community. But too often, the first barrier is money or gear. This campaign is designed to change that.
