Longwood. What can we say? There is a feel to it. Secluded, private, relaxing. The vaulted ceilings, the custom woodwork, all owner built and managed. There is an attention to detail that gives this home its feel. It's perfect to entertain or just to get away and enjoy the Galena Territory and surrounding communities.

Room for the whole crew. 🏡✨

6 bedrooms of space to spread out, vaulted wood-beam ceilings overhead, and a chef-ready kitchen built for big breakfasts and late-night conversations. Longwood is where reunions, retreats, and long weekends turn into memories nobody wants to leave behind.

🎂 Nobody told the squirrels and chipmunks it was Molly's birthday. Nobody had to.

The second the cake hit the plate they were all over it — no invitation, no RSVP, no waiting for the candles to be blown out. Absolutely adorable.

This is what a birthday looks like in the Galena hills. And honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Happy Birthday Molly — from the whole crew at Longwood and Blackhawk. 🏡🐿️

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, a milestone, or just the fact that it's the weekend — Longwood and Blackhawk were made for it. Six bedrooms, two owner-built and managed homes, and apparently a very enthusiastic guest list.

🌅 This is what the end of a great day looks like at Longwood.

Nobody designed this room to look good in a photo. The owner built it to feel good in person — and there's a difference you notice the moment you walk in.

Six bedrooms. Owner built. Owner managed. Every detail intentional, every stay personal.

🏙️ 12 people. Two 6-bedroom homes. And less than 20 minutes to all of this.

When you book Longwood or Blackhawk, Dubuque comes with it. Walk the Mississippi Riverwalk, grab dinner on the waterfront, try your luck at Diamond Jo Casino or Q Casino, and still make it back to the hills of Galena in time for a nightcap on the deck.

You're not choosing between a peaceful retreat and a good time out — you get both. That's the Stay Galena difference.

🐿️ He found the peanut plate and he is not leaving anytime soon.

Honestly, same energy we want for every guest at Longwood and Blackhawk — pull up, get comfortable, and stay a while. No one's in a hurry here.
