There was a boom in Vacation rentals in Galena since they started offering them downtown and then during Covid restrictions, but midweek rentals have started going down for about a year now. I don’t really think it’s a sign of the times but because of the platforms we use, the automatic pricing has continued to go up when rental use has not gone up.

Because of this, I have drastically reduced midweek pricing rates for all of my vacation rentals through February. Please consider them for your next trip through Galena. We cannot predict what the winter will bring, chestnut mountain does everything they can to open by Thanksgiving.

The Johnson apartment is available Oct 14th. October is a hard month to rent for the guests, so we wanted to make sure you are all aware of this option. Because the apartment is rented the Friday before, we will offer October 14 as a one-night rental if you prefer versus our typical requirement of two nights. Simply put in your request to rent October 14 and 15th, and then I can change the reservation to just one night if you prefer. Please mention this post when you make your reservation.
