Last, but certainly not least is Orchard Landing & Galena C***r Co. This is such a cool orchard that is completely different than others! Come hang out in an airplane hangar, ✈️ watch the planes land, 🍎 enjoy a homemade c***r, 🎤 while listening to live music! (We’ll be more on top of it next year with their live music schedule!) Bring your lawn chair and prepare to relax and enjoy a beautiful fall day! 🍂😎

🍎 Next up…Terrapin Orchards! 🍏

This is a solid pick your own apple experience (I believe they have you pick pumpkins as well)! Whether you want to pick your own, or grab some quick in the store, you’ll have the best of what’s in season! Make sure you wash them in their fun washing station also! 🧼 🐛

🍎 It’s apple time! 🍏

Over the next week or so we’re going to be highlighting some local apple orchards. First up, Dittmar Farms and Orchard! This family run farm has lots to offer and their family was so nice and personable! Not to mention, they collaborate with or provide services to other local businesses. Can you use these clues to guess who?! 🐝 🐴 💥 🌽 Below are some things you can look forward to while visiting the farm!

🚜 Scenic hayride and ATV rides
🎃 Pick your own pumpkin patch
🌺 Pick your own wild flowers
🐐 Petting zoo
🐴 Pony rides
🌽 Home grown popcorn and corn maze
🍩 Best apple donuts
🍏 Apple slushies
🍎 The family had a late frost wipe out their entire apple crop this year, so unfortunately, no apple picking. However, that didn’t stop us from having a great time or enjoying apple products!

🥪✨ Lunch Spotlight: Embe Galena ✨🥗

Stopped into Embe Galena on a hot day and had the turkey salad sandwich — and it was SO good! 🦃😍 There’s definitely a reason they sell out of it so often.

The menu had so many other things I wanted to try, so I already know I’ll be back. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, the prices are reasonable, and their drinks looked pretty amazing too. 🍹

If you’re looking for an easy lunch spot while exploring Galena, this one is worth adding to your list!

✨It’s the little things that make a stay easier✨

Today’s Galena condo project: labeling ALL the light switches! 🙌

Because no one wants to spend the first five minutes of vacation flipping every switch in the room trying to figure out which one turns on the porch light. 😂

And yes… one of them officially “Does Nothing.”
We may never know its purpose. It has accepted its fate. 🤷‍♀️

Not the most glamorous STR upgrade, but hopefully one less tiny frustration for our guests — and those little details add up. ❤️

Vacation should be easy — even the light switches. 😎
