Woohoo 🎉 one of the best restaurants on the island for breakfast and lunch will now be open till 8:00 pm! I know that 8 pm may seem early to some but for us islanders anything open past 3 pm is late. We are all on island time 🏝️ ⏰ ❤️

The Katz are out of the bag! Beginning Monday August 4th we will be open from 8 AM to 8 PM on MONDAYS only. Tuesday through Sunday we will still be open 8 AM to 2 PM ❣️Locals, your support has been the catalyst for our growth, and we're now poised to reach new heights. We're counting on your continued enthusiasm to help us thrive, so please share this post and spread the word – we're forever grateful for your advocacy!

ONLINE REGISTRATION HAS ENDED

In advance, we would like to thank everyone for their continued support with our efforts to support the society.

We have closed all online registration to avoid turning willing competitors away the day of the event, and observe safety concerns during summer heat conditions to protect both human and fur babies.

Due to the overwhelming support, we have VERY limited beach entries this year since registration was so strong. Those available spots will be determined, only after competitor check-in is completed between 7:30am and 8:00am.

Anyone wanting to sign up to compete, will be put into a lottery pool and must be present to enter.

Be prompt to arrive 28th & Seawall Blvd / Saturday July 19 by 7:30am, but please allow us to process those who have pre-registered first.

Island life at Christmas is the best, folks! It's a tropical winter wonderland, minus the wonderland part, because, you know, it's still 75 degrees and gorgeous. Just me, the beach, and some feathered friends – what more could you ask for?

Probably my favorite time to be on the island is fall to Christmas. The weather is wonderful and there is so much to do. Definitely check out Galveston Island for all the island activities.
