Galveston is celebrated with this creative and colorful Brigade! 🎉 Our first year, we broke the Guinness Book of World Record as the largest Line Umbrella Dance with 492 members. Each year we continue to grow this event, and we want YOU to be a part of it. Optional Creative Competitions available! 🧑‍🎨

☂️ The Funky Uptown Umbrella Brigade will begin 21st street between Mechanic & Strand and march throughout the district stopping in front of The Tremont House for a round of the Hokey Pokey. All participants with a decorated umbrella (MANDATORY) will receive FREE entry into the Entertainment District. We are inviting companies, groups, teams, organizations, crews, or even just a number of your good time having friends. 💜💚💛
