Carson Valley Days is bringing the color this year! 🖌️✨

Celebrate creativity, community, and Carson Valley charm at the 2026 Carson Valley Days Art Show, hosted by the Carson Valley Art Association at the CVIC Hall in Minden, June 12–14.

This judged show features incredible work from local artists, a fun “Minor Masterpieces” table, raffles, and the chance to meet the makers behind the masterpieces during Saturday evening’s Artist Reception. Add in refreshments and a weekend full of Carson Valley Days festivities, and you’ve got a picture-perfect stop on your celebration schedule.

Lace up and line up for the first run of Main Street Gardnerville’s 2026 “We Run This Town” Fun Run/Walk Series on Saturday, June 13! Kick off the festivities with a fun-filled route through Gardnerville and right up the parade path before the celebrations begin.

✨ Complete all three runs in the series and earn your commemorative “I Run This Town” tee!

The Douglas County Kids' Fishing Derby splashes back into Lampe Park June 6 & 7 for a weekend full of first catches, fish tales, and family fun. Young anglers ages 3–12 can enjoy a free fishing experience along Willow Creek complete with gear, prizes, and plenty of smiles.

From special tagged fish to “largest catch” bragging rights, there’s plenty on the line this year.
