☘️ A cozy stop along the Ring of Kerry 🐑💚

We pulled over at The Falcon Inn, nestled among peaceful sheep farms, for a quick (and delicious!) snack break. We enjoyed freshly baked Irish scones—both plain and fruit—with rich butter, jam, and clotted cream 😍

☕ I sipped on a classic Irish coffee (warmth with a kick!), while my husband went for a traditional tea, and our daughter loved her hot chocolate topped with cream. Pure comfort! 🫖🍫

The sunny weather made the whole experience even sweeter 🌤️ and we loved seeing the sheep roaming nearby. 🐑 Fun fact: the colorful dye on their wool tells farmers which flock they belong to—or whether they’ve received certain treatments!

Scenic views, fluffy scones, and sheep galore? Yes, please! 🇮🇪

🏰✨ A magical evening at Knappogue Castle and Gardens! ✨🏰

Last night, we stepped back in time for a medieval-themed dinner filled with period costumes, traditional Irish music, and dancing 💃🕺

To make the night even more special, our amazing agency owner Velia and her husband were crowned our table’s King and Queen 👑👑 – long may they reign!

🍷 Drinks flowed with Meade, wine, fruit punch, and water.
🥗 We started with either a salmon salad or a refreshing melon salad, followed by a delicious tomato basil soup 🍅
🍗 The main course was hearty roast chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and we ended on a sweet note with apple cake and coffee or tea ☕🍰

🎶 The entire evening was full of laughs, music, and even a traditional Irish song we all sang together. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Room tour time! 🛏️✨ We’re staying at the Treacys Oakwood Hotel in Shannon, Ireland 🇮🇪 and this triple room is perfect for families or friends traveling together — one double bed and one single bed for a comfy stay! 🙌🧳Clean, spacious, and in a great location for exploring the west of Ireland. 🗺️💚

The Cliffs of Moher did not disappoint! 🌊🌿
We lucked out with perfect weather — clear skies and sunshine made the views even more breathtaking. ☀️✨ Standing at the edge of Ireland and looking out over the Atlantic was pure magic. 🇮🇪💚

This is one of those must-see stops on any trip to Ireland — photos just don’t do it justice! 🏞️📸

From East to West! 🇮🇪🚌
We left Dublin bright and early and made our way across the country to beautiful Galway — just a quick 2.5-hour ride!

We had a short but sweet visit in the Latin Quarter where we wandered past the Spanish Arch, grabbed legendary fish & chips at McDonagh’s 🐟🍟, and of course… made time for Murphy’s Ice Cream again 🍦😍 (yes, we tried more flavors!).

We also visited Thomas Dillon’s, the original makers of the iconic Claddagh ring 💍✨ — such a special Irish tradition.

Now we’re back on the road and heading to the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher! 🌊⛰️ Stay tuned!

IRELAND: Days 1 & 2 🇮🇪

Our Modern Family Travel LLC 2025 Group Trip is off to a GREAT start! 🎉✈️ Everyone arrived on Sunday, and by mid-morning, we were already out exploring the incredible sights of Dublin.

We kicked things off with visits to St. Stephen’s Green 🌳, the bustling Grafton Street 🛍️, the famous Molly Malone statue 🎶, the historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral ⛪, and Dublin Castle 🏰. We ended the afternoon soaking up the atmosphere in the iconic Temple Bar area 🍻, took in the views from Ha’penny Bridge 🌉, and wrapped up the day with a tour of the legendary Guinness Storehouse 🍺.

On Day 2, we started with an included guided city tour 🚌, then continued exploring with a visit to Merrion Square to see the witty and whimsical Oscar Wilde statue 🗿 and a walk through the grounds of Trinity College 📚.

Last night, we experienced true Irish hospitality at Taylor’s Three Rock 🍽️, enjoying a lively dinner show filled with traditional Irish music 🎻 and Irish dancing 💃—a fun and festive way to end the day!
