July 19 is coming fast!!

It seems this The West Virginia Way’s 2025 Summer Fun Run, 7/19/2025 is shaping up to be a great event.

**We are offering 20% off of your stay at any of our properties if you are participating in the poker run!**

*There are going to be people that ride all the time and there are going to be first timers along for this ride, we are setting this up to accommodate all!
*You do not have to ride with a tour guide to participate and you do not have to leave the shop by 10am to participate.
*Proceeds from the event will go to Northfork Fire.
100% of the Profits from the sale of the Poker Run T-Shirts and Stickers
100% of the Poker Run Entry Fee
100% of the Raffle Tickets
100% of Auction Proceeds
(All items being raffled or auctioned off have been donated for the event from Properties, Venders, Guests, Friends and Family.)
Now The Fun Part!!!!!
The West Virginia Way will be open at 8am to register all Poker Run participants.
You will be required to sign in, pay and receive a wristband at the shop in the morning to participate in this event. This will be the first draw of the day.
The last tour guide will leave by 10am (Guided Tour spots are limited so let us know if you wish to run with a guide by messaging me at 980-429-0514. Please send your name and how many buggies you will be signing in. These spots will have to be first come first serve.)
Breakfast, Coffee and Water will be provided between 8 and 10 during the Registry at the Shop.
Breakfast will be Sausage, eggs, gravy and biscuits.

This is going to be a destination type of ride. Not timed and no trail Required, multiple ways to get to all destinations. This ride will be as easy or as difficult as you wish it to be, So ride safe and at your level of skill. You can participate without riding at all, this will allow everyone to contribute and play even if you don’t have a machine!
We will provide maps and guidance at the shop when you sign up for the event.

*This is going to be a CHIP draw type of poker run,

$25.00 to draw chips and $15.00 dollars to ride but not draw.
(If you do not have a Permit Hatfield is allowing us to offer a 1 day pass for the people hat don't need or want a yearly pass. This is for this one day event only.)
The Chip Draw works like this, you arrive at a destination that is participating, go to the representative, pull from a bag of chips the representative will write the number that is on the chip on your wrist band. You put your chip back in the bag. There will be 4 draws for the day.
*At the end of the day, your wrist band numbers will be totaled up at our Outlaw Cabins. (Brave Street Northfork WV)
*If you have not drawn any chips all day, you will be able to draw chips at the end of the day with us, this means no one is rushed and you do not have to visit all destinations spots.

All Chip draws will be totaled at the end of the day!
The Lowest Total Wins $100.00
The Highest Total Wins 25.00
The final draw will be held by 6:00 at
Brave St Northfork WV, 24868 at our Outlaws Cabins.
Dinner will be provided at the cabins along with the Winner of the Poker Run will be announced at 6pm at our Cabins!!
(No alcohol will be provided or available for purchase on the properties of The West Virginia Way.)

The West Virginia Way’s 1st Annual Poker Run April 5th
Hello everyone,
Thanks to all for the Interest, response and sharing about this event. Info you will need to know.
It seems this The West Virginia Way’s 1st Annual Poker Run is shaping up to be a great event.
*There are going to be people that ride all the time and there are going to be first timers along for this ride, we are setting this up to accommodate all! (All should enjoy the way we are setting this up)
*You do not have to ride with a tour guide to participate and you do not have to leave the shop by 10am to participate.
*Proceeds from the event will be split evenly between Northfork
Fire and Kimball Fire Department, they will distribute the funds to assist the citizens of McDowell County in their recovery efforts from the devastating fluids of 2025!

So here in our part of WV we are out of power and no service unless we come into town. Thank you to everyone who stayed this weekend or attempted to stay with us for being patient about the power and weather! We appreciate you all! Have a safe trip home!
For those coming in this coming weekend power will hopefully 🤞 be back by Monday and we will let you know if anything changes! Our phone service is also limited so we will do our best to get back to everyone when we can!
