🏰✨ HAPPY 55TH BIRTHDAY, WALT DISNEY WORLD!!! ✨🏰

FIFTY-FIVE. YEARS. OLD. 😭😭😭💖

October 1, 1971… the day the gates opened and Walt Disney World officially entered the world. And honestly? Look at her now. 😍🏰✨

For 55 years, this place has been making dreams come true, creating memories that families carry for generations, turning ordinary days into “I will never forget this” moments, and somehow making grown adults cry when they see a castle. 🙋‍♀️😭😂

And YES, I am absolutely one of those grown adults. 😂💕

Because Disney isn’t just rides and restaurants and resorts. It’s the feeling you get when you walk down Main Street and see Cinderella Castle. 🥹
It’s hearing that music and suddenly knowing you’re home. 🎶🏰
It’s watching a child’s face light up when they meet their favorite character. ✨
It’s fireworks that somehow make you cry EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 😭🎆
It’s the Cast Members who make ordinary moments feel magical. 💕
It’s the memories with the people you love that stay with you long after you leave. ❤️

And just look at how much Walt Disney World has grown and evolved over these 55 years! New lands, new attractions, new resorts, new restaurants, new ways to experience the magic… and somehow, that little bit of Disney magic that started in 1971 is still right there. ✨

So today, I’m putting on my imaginary birthday ears 🎀, raising my Mickey-shaped glass 🥂, and saying…

🎂🏰 HAPPY 55TH BIRTHDAY, WALT DISNEY WORLD!!! 🏰🎂

You’ve grown. You’ve changed. You’ve gotten bigger and better.

But girl…

YOU STILL LOOK AMAZING. 😍💕😂

🚨 DEAR UNIVERSAL ORLANDO, I HAVE A COMPLAINT. 🚨

Why did you make Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure so ridiculously fun?! 🤨

Because now I have a problem.

I can’t just casually go to Universal anymore. Nope. Now my brain is like:

🏍️ “But are we riding Hagrid today?”
🏍️ “How many times can we ride Hagrid?”
🏍️ “What if we ride it AGAIN?”
🏍️ “But what if the wait gets shorter? WE MUST CHECK.”

And then there’s the eternal question…

BIKE OR SIDECAR?! 😱

The launches.
The drops.
The Forbidden Forest. 🌲
The creatures. 🐉
The surprises. 👀
That moment when you realize you have absolutely NO idea what’s about to happen next. 😂

It’s basically like Universal said, “Let’s take a roller coaster, throw in Hagrid, a magical forest, some creatures, a motorcycle, and a little bit of CHAOS.”

And apparently I said, “YES. AGAIN.” 😂

If you haven’t ridden it yet, consider this your sign. 🪄

And if you’re planning a Universal vacation and have NO IDEA how to fit everything in without spending your entire vacation standing in lines…

I want to know something…

WHY do YOU love Disney? 🥹

Is it the magic? ✨
The rides? 🎢
The food? 🍔🍿
The characters? 🐭
The fireworks? 🎆
The nostalgia? 🥰
The feeling you get when you walk down Main Street? 🏰
Or maybe it’s the memories you’ve made with the people you love most. ❤️

For me, Disney has always been about so much more than a vacation.

I love Disney because of the feeling it gives me. ❤️

I love watching someone experience Disney for the very first time. I love seeing kids’ faces light up when they meet a character. I love the Cast Members who somehow manage to make an already-magical day even more special. ✨

I love the little details, the music, the food, the resorts, the traditions, the rides… ALL of it. 😂🏰🎢🍪

But most of all, I love the memories.

Disney gives my family a place to slow down, laugh together, make memories, and just forget about the real world for a little while. And after all the craziness life can bring, sometimes that little bit of magic is exactly what we need. 💙

And maybe that’s why I love helping other families experience it, too. 🥹✨
