Every time we open the guest book at one of our cabins, we brace ourselves…because the stories our guests leave behind are never just about the stay. They’re about the pause, the peace, the memories that hit different.

This one from The Double Knot nearly had me in tears:

“This already feels like the best decision we’ve made all year.

The kids ran straight to the bunk room, the dog was immediately at home on the trails, and I… finally exhaled. A glass of wine in the hot tub, trees all around, and for the first time in months…peace!

We didn’t want to leave. The kids asked if we could live here forever. And honestly I kind of wanted to say yes!”

There are two types of people: those who say “we should plan a trip” and those who actually book the cabin 😏

This is The Top Knot. She sits quietly atop Cove Mountain in Gatlinburg, TN—watching sunsets, minding her business, and hosting the kind of vacations people don’t shut up about for years.

• 5 bedrooms (3 kings, because you’re not 22 anymore)
• 4.5 baths
• Mountain views from the hot tub that’ll make you rethink your entire life plan
• 2 miles to downtown G-burg
• 1 mile to Ober
• Occasional bears 🐻

It’s calm. It’s cozy. It’s available (for now).

As we approach the Fourth of July celebrations, we want to remind everyone that fireworks are NOT permitted in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Enjoy the natural beauty, hike the trails, and embrace the spirit of independence while maintaining the serenity and peacefulness of the Smokies.

​Fireworks disrupt wildlife and have the potential to start human-caused wildfires within the park.

We encourage you to enjoy public firework displays offered in communities surrounding the park.
