Machu Picchu ❤️

There’s something about finally standing in a place you’ve only ever dreamed of seeing. Somehow, the feeling hits a little harder when you’re actually there, taking it all in with your own eyes.

We had plenty of rain during our visit, which interrupted some of the views, but when you’re exploring the cloud forest of Peru, unpredictable weather comes with the territory. And honestly, the clouds rolling through the mountains made the whole experience feel almost magical. ☁️✨

To finally be here was both amazing and humbling. It’s one of those places that reminds you just how incredible this world is and how much there is still to explore.

And the town of Aguas Calientes? It has a piece of my heart. ❤️ Tucked into the mountains, surrounded by lush green landscapes and the sound of rushing water, it has a beauty all its own.

Some places live in your dreams for years. Getting to experience them in real life is something you never forget. 🌎

And straight into the landscapes of Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Our guide is from Andean culture and is a wealth of knowledge! I strangely wasn’t prepared what to expect; you see endless photos of Machu Picchu when researching Peru, llamas of course.. rainbow mountains ETC. Let’s just say you can’t look away for a second or you’ll miss the next view, ruins, and archeological sights that flood the valley. I have fallen in love with the small towns that line the valley; Pisac, Culca, Urubamba and many in between. The charm, colors, art and stone streets bring such character. Off to Ollantaytambo today!

Wandering the street of Lima, Peru. It is truly incredible the history that lays in the centre of the city. Visiting 400 year old cathedrals and catacombs.. and wandering the beachside watching surfers. Amazing start to the trip 🇵🇪.

A much-needed weekend getaway through the Canadian Rockies. 🌲

From the breathtaking scenery of Banff National Park to the towering peaks of Glacier National Park (BC), with a stop at the incredible Abraham Lake, every mile reminded me why Alberta and British Columbia are home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.

We spent the weekend in a cozy little cabin just outside Golden, BC, surrounded by mountains, fresh air, and family. Sometimes the best adventures aren’t about going far—they’re about slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and making memories with the people you love.
