✨ Let’s Talk Adventure Trips — and Why They Have a Planning Fee ✨

Adventure trips are my favorite thing to plan, but they’re also the most work behind the scenes. If you have ever taken a trip with me then you know 🤪 These aren’t simple all-inclusive vacations. They’re custom, multi-city experiences built just for you.

Think of an Adventure Trip as a personalized itinerary where I help with things like:
• choosing the best cities and areas to stay
• restaurant + activity suggestions
• transportation between cities
• events happening while you’re there
• safety info, local tips, and must-do spots
• a day-by-day plan that actually makes sense

All of that takes hours of research, comparing prices, checking schedules, and making sure everything flows smoothly. And because many of these pieces don’t pay commission, that’s why there’s a planning fee — it covers the time needed to put it all together.

The pictures attached are one example of an itinerary for a trip I personally took. An Itinerary made for a client would be more or less detailed depending on their needs.

Yes, I am still in the business of planning — my page has just been a little quiet, but we are officially back in action!

Thank you to everyone who has continued to refer clients my way. Your support means so much to me and is a huge part of why my little business keeps growing. I appreciate every single one of you!

I also want to share a few friendly reminders about what I offer and how I work:

• Standard Bookings

I do not charge for standard resort, hotel, or flight bookings. (No agent should — we are paid by commission.)

• Disney Trips

I do not plan Disney vacations, but I’m always happy to point you toward a great Disney planner who can help!

• Cruise Bookings

I only work with select cruise lines. If I’m not partnered with the line you’re interested in, I can happily refer you to someone who specializes in that cruise brand.

• Airbnb / VRBO

I am not partnered with Airbnb or VRBO, so I do not receive commission from those bookings. Because of that, there is a small upfront fee based on the time required to find the right property.
This usually ranges from $10–$25, depending on how specific or complex your needs are.

• “Adventure” Trips (My Favorite!)

These are not all-inclusive vacations — they’re multi-city, multi-experience itineraries that require detailed research and planning.
Examples include:
• traveling to/needing accommodations for multiple cities
• restaurant recommendations
• safest/best areas to stay
• transportation between cities
• events happening during your stay
• permits or licenses for activities
…and so much more.

These itineraries take hours — sometimes days — to build, so I do charge a planning fee for “Adventure” trips.
