Hammock Coast Safer Shores Starts Here!

Leadership Georgetown County Class 32 has unveiled their class project: bright, family-friendly beach access signs designed to be easily recognizable for children, parents, and visitors alike.

These colorful signs help beachgoers find their way and stay safe—making the Hammock Coast a more welcoming destination for everyone.

Big thanks to Class 32 for combining creativity and community impact to make our shores safer and smarter!

Ribbon Cutting Recap: YMCA’s Pool on Wheels!

Last Thursday, we were proud to join the YMCA of Coastal Carolina in Andrews for the official ribbon cutting and launch of their incredible new Pool on Wheels program

This mobile pool will bring free swim lessons and water safety education directly to communities across Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties—making a lifesaving difference for local kids and families.

Big thanks to the YMCA, community partners, and generous donors who made this innovative project possible. The future is brighter—and safer—because of you!

We’re proud to celebrate our member, St. Frances Animal Center, for another incredible Pilots To The Rescue mission—saving lives and giving animals a second chance.

A special surprise made the day even brighter: While refueling in North Myrtle Beach, Mr. & Mrs. Larry Brown saw the shelter vans and animals—and generously donated to cover the entire fuel bill for the mission through ARMG! 🐾

This act of kindness reminds us just how strong and generous our community truly is. Thank you to all who make a difference every day.

We were honored to join SOS Care as they celebrated the opening of Georgetown County’s first affordable housing for individuals with disabilities!

This milestone represents more than just a new building—it’s a big step forward in creating inclusive, supportive housing options for all members of our community.

Congratulations to the SOS Care Team and all the partners and donors who helped make this vision a reality!

We had a deliciously good time welcoming the Taste of Chicago Food Truck to Murrells Inlet last Friday! From Italian beef sandwiches to Chicago-style hot dogs, they brought the Windy City flavor to the Hammock Coast—and we loved every bite.
