Five Islands Lupines -

I was overjoyed to find this new patch of lupines in a garden next to Five Islands Lobster, one of my favorite places on the planet, on Tuesday. I was visiting with a good friend and though it seemed like a pretty boring sunrise with no clouds in the sky, we both came away with great images. It goes to show there is no such thing as ideal conditions, except maybe the state of these lupines!

I'll be visiting here again June 20 to lead another one-day photo workshop, which still has a few openings. These lupines will likely be past peak by then, but there will be plenty of other things to photograph! There always are here.
