Our guests learn about fascinating history and the paranormal activity in these infamous houses. Ghostly Images was created to give people the opportunity to hear ghost stories in the Historic Jennie Wade House Museum. From that, the Homestead Orphanage was added. And then Ghostly Encounters and Haunted Bus Tours. Our guides are a dedicated group of people who have the opportunity to tell ghost tales in two world renowned haunted homes in one of the most haunted areas in the country~ Gettysburg, Pennsylvania! With so many tours to choose from, you are sure to enjoy your visit to the other-side! Step inside the Haunted Orphanage, where innocent children were tortured by a cruel and abusive matron. Hear their story and possibly experience your own encounter! Venture into the Jennie Wade House, site of the Battle's only civilian death, and where something lingers still...

Step aboard the Ghost Bus and take a trip to some of Gettysburg's most haunted landmarks. Hear haunted tales on the bus and step off for more tales in the dark. Anything can happen when you ride the Ghost Bus! For more intense tours join us for a Ghostly Encounter, where the ghost of the location returns to tell their side of the story. You may follow Mary or James or Jennie at the Jennie Wade House or if you are really brave, Rosa Carmichael at the Homestead Orphanage. These tours are very dramatic and sure to chill! If you want something more involved try the new late night tours, Truth or Scare. You will journey through a historic haunted home, but you must listen very carefully, because some of the stories are truth and some of the stories are scares, but which is which? They were children. Orphaned by war. Placed in a building meant to care for them. Instead, they found cruelty, punishment, and despair.

Rosa Carmichael's reign at the Soldier's Orphans' Homestead was marked by abuse. Children were beaten for minor infractions. They were locked in cellars. They were isolated and broken.
