Froelich 1890s Village Museum site opens for the 2026 Tour Season on Saturday, May 9th. Our seasonal hours are Sundays 11am-5pm and Mon, Thurs, Fri & Saturdays from 10am-5pm. Now through September 27th. Also the first two weekends in Oct 3&4 and Oct 10&11th. Then we close for the season. Come enjoy a family friendly guided tour of our 7 buildings of the General Store & Post Office, the Freight Warehouse, One-Room School, Blacksmith Shop, Railroad Depot, Semi Building and Vintage Barn. Froelich Foundation's Annual Meeting is Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 1:30pm in the fellowship hall at St Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. New members are welcome to join. The Froelich Museum is open July 4th: 10am-5pm. Open throughout the weekend. Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm. We look forward to seeing you!

Froelich's annual Fall-der-All is September 27th & 28th, 2025. We'll have a tractor ride Saturday, Sunday is Breakfast in the Barn, there will be many old-time demonstrations including threshing and plowing throughout the weekend. Scrumptious food served in the barn both days. Many vendors, kids' fun activities and museum tours. There is a kid's pedal pull. We are hoping to have tractor wagon rides in the near area for our guests to enjoy. Also, the Big Raffle drawing is at 3pm Sunday. Many tractors on display! Mark your calendar for this enjoyable gathering which is the Froelich Foundation & Museums annual fundraiser. More details to come.

Step back in time . . . with a tour of the Froelich 1890s Village Museum site! Home to John Froelich's invention of the first gasoline powered tractor able to propel itself forward & backward in 1892. This was the forerunner to John Deere Tractor works. Open every day except Tues & Wednesdays we're closed.
