NEW VIDEO - MYKONOS GREECE - DO YOU NEED A GUIDED EXCURSION?

If your cruise ship stops at the Mykonos Cruise Port, would you book a Mykonos excursion or explore Mykonos Town on your own?

During our Greek Islands cruise aboard Celebrity Infinity, Nancy and I did both.

Our day included:

📍 Armenistis Lighthouse

📍 Panagia Tourliani Monastery in Ano Mera

📍 Mykonos Town (Chora)

📍 Little Venice

📍 The famous Mykonos Windmills

📍 The SeaBus ferry between New Port and Old Port

Part way through the day, we made a surprising decision and left our guided excursion to continue exploring Mykonos Town independently.

Looking back, we're not convinced there is one "right" way to spend a day in Mykonos.

Some cruise passengers may enjoy an island excursion.

Others may prefer wandering Mykonos Town on their own.

And after seeing the beaches, restaurants, shops and waterfront atmosphere, we can also understand why some visitors choose a beach resort day instead.

In this new video, we share exactly what we saw, what we learned, and what we'd consider doing differently if we return to Mykonos.
