The Gillespie Globetrotters are selling Gillespie Miner blankets from September 29 through October 10, 2025, for $30 to help fundraise for the students who will be traveling to Costa Rica in June of 2026. Order forms will be sent home Monday with students and can be returned to their teachers in the elementary school or Mrs. Edgerton or Ms. Prough in the Middle and High Schools. Show your Miner spirit with this cozy, long lasting XL 60" x 70" blanket that is printed in the U.S.A. by a fundraising company that is founded by a former veteran and teacher duo. Blankets will be sent home with your student when they are delivered if you have one enrolled in CUSD7 or you will be notified of a time in the evening that you can pick them up.
We also have ONE GMS Indians blanket that will be raffled off. Tickets will be $1 each or an arm's length for $5.
If you would like to view these blankets in person, we will have them available to see and order at the Homecoming Football game on October 3. The raffle winner for the GMS blanket will be drawn the morning of October 14 when students return from Columbus Day break.
